Another example is when I point out the systemic racism involved in the FHA/VA loan and red-lining, which not only affected housing in the 50’s-90s, but also up to this present day, and a white housemate begins to talk about how hard working class white folks have always had it. These are the things that strike me as white fragility, but we cannot deal with any of it if any party is silenced. Respectful conversation is the only way to solve any problem.
