The common good and the general welfare require libraries in order for our society to become more fully inclusive for all of us. Public libraries, conventional brick-and-morter, as well as newer sorts of libraries, like Tiny Libraries and internet based libraries like that of Project Gutenberg and The Archive (thank you Canada, for hosting it!), are all important repositories of freely available knowledge.
All of my published works (my thesis and my non-fiction book on the history of Black-Jewish cooperation in DC), are available in multiple public libraries as well as the Internet Archive’s Open Library, and both of my practice novels are available in a library of sorts: my media library here on WordPress.

So, I am moving my Publications and Classes, etc (not counting the mathematics or Adult Ed. classes I’ve taught as a paid instructor) page to a post, so that I can clear space on my blog heading, and put my pubs on my About page, which makes more sense, I suppose.
Then, up for a walk around my room!
Help me Items:
1.) Should I add my first practice novel (Creator: Friend or Foe) to this post?

Thank you, Ashley.
I still can’t figure out why it’s displaying as it is, since when I edit and preview it it looks fine, but then it squishes together in the live view.

Not all of this is traditionally published, and most of this work has been unpaid, but thank you, again! I just hope it can make some difference and live on after me.

I think my favorite thing about this list (besides its sheer breadth – you go, girl!) is that singing engagements has its own entry. 🙂
I vote yes to adding your first practice novel. Mostly because I selfishly want to read it. Obviously your decision though.
I’ll have to check out your non-fiction as well.

Thank you, JYP! 🙂
I have several significantly different versions of CFOF, any or all of which I can send you! 🙂
The first version, ironically enough, garnered a great deal of praise from one friend of mine, who is admittedly rather quirky, but I saw, upon looking back, that there was really no coherent plot line, and 6 redrafts really did not fix it. But, it you are really bored, I think I might suggest the novella version -I’ll link it in now…
Wrt my non-fic, you may find Stayed shorter and more interesting than Shared Monetary Governance, which is my thesis, and my theoretical article is my personal favorite item based on the thesis, although much of what I wrote for Gather the Jews, my DC Beit Midrash classes, and my workshops was based on the last chapter or two of my thesis: Conclusions and further research.

Thanks again, JYP! I remember being warned that I would burn myself out, and that has been true, but I find that after I am too tired to do more, I look back with gratitude that I did work at full speed, because often what I so more slowly I find less satisfying when I look back at it, perhaps because I had time for doubt to creep in?
